Hamilton Porter is a national technical recruiting agency that focuses on placing top talent with our clients from across the US. We are excited to announce that one of our fastest growing clients is actively looking to hire a multiple full-time, Full Stack PHP Developers to their team. Our client is a performance marketing and adtech software provider that takes a data driven approach to dynamic online advertising and customer acquisition. In this role, you will be working with a JavaScript front-end (Vue.js) and a Laravel backend. The core responsibilities will be to help design, develop, and release the next version of our flagship dynamic advertising software. This role can be worked 100% remotely. Responsibilities
- Design and implementation of critical systems, internal products, and database schema.
- Motivate team members, probes into technical details, and mentors others to do the same
- Extensive development, including but not limited to implementing requests from the business, writing tests, UX/UI implementation, writing custom SQL queries, creating models/controllers, etc.
- Communicate technical challenges and status with team leaders, project managers, and key stakeholders.
- Fix bugs and errors in the existing product;
- Optimize source code and performance of our internal systems and products.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional, hands-on development experience in PHP and MySQL
- Expert working knowledge of web fundamentals like HTML/CSS, Javascript, Browsers, Web Sockets, DNS, etc.
- Experience with Bootstrap, LESS, SASS, or other CSS frameworks.
- Strong working knowledge of Git
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Good understanding of advanced/complex Laravel topics like Queues, Caching, Events,
- Workers, etc.
Desired qualifications
- Experience with AWS, Google Cloud, or other Cloud PaaS services.
- Experience with command-line tools and applications.
- Experience with ElasticSearch, InfluxDB (or other time-series databases), and
- Datawarehouse like Snowflake, Redshift, Etc.
- Experience with Redis
- JIRA and Agile tools related experience preferred
