ApplauseIT is recruiting a PHP Developer for a rising Logistics company that is growing their SaaS platform, which coincides with the huge growth they have experienced recently. This developer will have experience working with back-end language (PHP - Laravel). You will be working on a flexible basis, with a mixture of a home and office working arrangement (Monday to Friday).

Established over 25 years ago, this logistics company has grown to become the largest privately-owned company in its sector. Containing over 50 different corporate sites across the UK, with a team of over 1,000 people, they have come from strength to strength against the current climate and are looking to expand their team. Their SaaS software suite is at the forefront of their business, with their software team deploying their own logistics solution throughout their network.
They are looking for a new PHP developer to work on the development of their SaaS platform in an agile environment. This platform prides itself on addressing the needs of retail customers, regional depots, and head office personnel.
Responsibilities and Duties- Software development, including building, deploying, and maintaining logistic solutions.
- System design and specification for key system components.
- Collaborating with stakeholders and colleagues to capture and interpret requirements.
- Minimum 3 years experience working in a software development team.
- At least 18 months of experience in delivering SaaS/cloud solutions.
- Experience with agile tools/techniques
- MVC design experience (e.g., Laravel)
- Experience in databases design
- Excellent time management
- Degree level qualification in Computer Science or similar
- Familiarity with GitHub (desirable)
