Job Description
Were looking to grow our data-driven reporting output, and we want to help guide our readers to make the best choices through best-ofs, product reviews, engaging content and SEO-driven journalism. Responsibilities:
- Help the Managing Data Editor build and scale content efforts, including managing the day-to-day content workflow
- Find, recruit, and set up new freelancers as needed. Train and support freelancers on how to use Forbes tools and style guides
- Work with the managing editor to build best data practices for the editorial team, including content, data storage, survey calendars, templates, imagery and social media standards
- Leverage data and SEO best practices to create survey topics for content teams and manage the survey workflow in collaboration with editorial, digital PR and SEO
- Work collaboratively with the global editorial team, creating best practices worldwide for the space
- Edit and produce automated editorial content
- Build methodologies to rate and rank related products and services for best-ofs
- Brainstorm and contribute to social content efforts
Requirements:
- At least 2 years experience in data journalism
- 3-5 years of experience in online journalism
- Demonstrably strong understanding of the automation space
- Experience with SEO best practices, willingness to learn and expand SEO skills
- Extremely organized and detail-oriented
- Nimble and open to quick changes in strategy
